3x Sycamore Trees in Portal Woodland (immediately behind 8 and 10 Ash Close) Discussions with the Trees dept and a site visit by the surveyor in April 2025, have suggested a limited amount of pruning can take place as follows : A general full crown reduction of 2-3m. Selective reduction on a small number of lateral branches (3 or 4) of up to 4m. Cuts being done to an appropriate pruning point to maintain the overall shape of the trees. Remove any dead branches that are in danger of falling from height causing injury or damage.
