Plan to fell a Sycamore tree and poison the stump to prevent regrowth, reduce the crown of a Horse Chestnut tree to previous pruning points due to limb failures, and reduce the crown of another Sycamore tree to manage spread and reduce structural failure risk. CH2 1DGFull Proposal
T1 Sycamore - Fell to near ground level and poison stump to prevent regrowth. The tree is located adjacent to the rear gable of the garage and has insufficient space to develop to maturity without causing conflict. It has previously been coppiced and has regenerated from the stool due to a lack of appropriate long-term management. T2 Horse Chestnut - Crown reduce back to previous pruning points. The tree has recently had a number of large limb failures into neighbouring gardens, occurring at old reduction points where decay pockets have developed at branch unions. This work is intended to reduce the risk of future failures and shall be repeated on a 6-year cyclical basis. T3 Sycamore - Crown reduce back to previous pruning points to manage crown spread and reduce the risk of structural failure. The reduction cycle shall be repeated every 6 years
