Application to uplift branches of poplars near Morrisons access road and Mersey Rail car park to a height of 5.2 metres and reduce lateral branches by 2 metres.

The poplars highlighted on the attached map are causing concern to Mersey Rail due to their height and proximity to the car park and access road. All branches encroaching towards the Morrisons access road and into the Mersey Rail car park will be uplifted back to kerb line to a height of 5.2 metres. A 2 metre lateral reduction will be undertaken on all tree branches encroaching into the car park, to as high as can be achieved from within the MEWP.
